Systevo connection unit for IP touch terminal, for providing the required call system and control functions in occupant/patient/service rooms according to DIN VDE 0834. Serves in full IP mode as a control unit for additional functions in the respective room and as a gateway to the higher-level central unit (via Ethernet LAN). All services are routed to the touch terminal via the ETH-LAN interface (license required if applicable). Monitoring/synchronization of all data traffic as well as audio connections (calls, announcements) to other rooms within the organizational unit, coordination of communication with the central units and other participants via data bus. Management of configuration data via management server, redundant local flash storage and use of profiles (functions, I/O, device services).

Connection of the multifunctional room units and the signal light via the data bus (DBUS) and use of call inputs (I/O) for connection to the room controller. Use of user-friendly installation technology with colour-coded terminal blocks for the individual device and control functions, for efficient cabling and optimization of the commissioning process. Support bed-by-bed speaking in conjunction with a bed/intercom unit and handheld device at the bed.
Upgradable to future system firmware thanks to pioneering flash and memory technologies: Possibility of automated software update during operation.
